ASC Automated Stacking Cranes
ASC Automated Stacking Cranes in two versions: ASC (as a portal solution) and ASC-OBC (as an overhead bridge crane). ASC cranes perform fully-automated housekeeping and management of container stacks. They also form the link between quayside and landside equipment such as ship-to-shore cranes, terminal transport vehicles and trucks.

Ideal Sites for Use:

• Large Terminals: when containers need be transported to the stack, stored and distributed, Gottwald Automated Stacking Cranes (ASC) and Automated Guided Vehicles (AGV) work hand-in-hand, linked by cutting-edge management software from Gottwald Port Technology.
• Automated Compact Terminals: ASCs work together with Mobile or Portal Harbour Cranes, linked by a tailored software package.
