The Lift AGV enables the automated container transport and storage processes in the stacking crane interchange zone to be decoupled.

The consequences are these:

• The vehicle fleet is reduced by almost half but retains the same productivity
• Reduced fuel consumption because there is no waiting time for the vehicles
